This gorgeous piece is heavy and solid .999Silver. Thick and substantial and polished to a high luster. This is a natural (not heated) Black Opal, is 8 mm oval faceted. From Australia and is a great choice for deep colors.  People seek the black opals because of the flashes of many colors with deep dark color separation. The red color is at the base of this gem, which gives the true appearance of its depth. Sits on the forward viewing presentation.
 
This is the second one I have crafted by hand! This time the piece dangles from a Paris France charm topper with invisible loop to hang the chain. Your choice too. I can remove this element if it does not appeal.

I should mention that the links on Pendant are soldered closed. Which I feel is important due to the weight. She is solid with a flat back. Constructed hand forged and crafted from .999 Silver.

Be mindful to not store next to other hard jewelry that may scratch the opal. Keep away from high heat, chemicals, oils, perfume, and cleaners. Opals can lose their flash if soaked in water. Just use a little bit if necessary to clean off oils. Dry well. If your accidentally get it wet for a period of time than dry off well and place in a bowl of rice. Most times as the Opal returns to its flashy goodness!!
