I can solder the ring closed and it will be in 8 USA.
If I leave it open, you cannot move it or you will weaken it overtime, but it does not need to be closed with Sauter to be strong. It will last a lifetime if you do not move it yourself.
I can also solder it to any size you request that is smaller than an eight.
If you want the ring bigger than an eight, it can safely go to a nine, but it will not be soldered. The design was not created longer than an eight.
